Car Park Equipment
The Sovereign Shopping Centre's car parking system incorporates the use of environmentally friendly recyclable parking tokens that replace paper parking tickets. This innovative parking system, which is manufactured by Scheidt & Bachmann one of the worlds leading suppliers of parking systems, has already been introduced into a number of shopping centre car parks throughout the UK. The systems unique recyclable plastic parking tokens (about the size of a 2 pence coin - see photo) replace the 650,000 paper tickets used each year by visitors to the Car Park. The system includes six pay stations (four at shopping mall level and two on Level One of the Car Park) and the facility for visitors to pay for their parking using their debit or credit card via ‘Chip & Pin’ card readers and or bank note readers. Note - Not all credit cards accepted. |
